The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm alert for 13 Telangana districts for Thursday (June 19, 2025).
According to IMDs latest bulletin, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are expected at isolated places in Adilabad; Kumaram Bheem Asifabad; Mancherial; Nirmal; Nizamabad; Jagtial; Rajanna Sircilla; Karimnagar; Peddapalli; Jayashankar Bhupalpally; Mulugu; Bhadradri Kothagudem and Khammam. Additionally, gusty winds are likely to prevail at isolated locations across all districts in the State.
For Hyderabad and surrounding areas, the IMD has forecast partly cloudy skies over the next 24 hours. Light rain or drizzle, accompanied by gusty winds, is expected in some parts of the city. Hazy conditions are likely during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures in the city are expected to be around 34°C and 25°C respectively, the bulletin said.
