Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy would launch the State-wide distribution of 2.4 lakh ration cards (food security cards), in Thungaturthi constituency, Suryapet district on Monday (July 14). This would benefit 11.30 lakh people. New ration cards were distributed to 41 lakh people in the past six months. The total number of ration cards, including newly issued, stands at 94,72,422. The number of beneficiaries is 3.14 crore.
