Hyderabad witnessed a fresh spell of rain on Saturday (July 19, 2025) afternoon, with several localities including Secunderabad, A.S. Rao Nagar, Nacharam, and Mallapur receiving showers. The day, which began on a sunny note following widespread rainfall on Friday (July 19, 2025), quickly turned overcast as dark clouds gathered over the city.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for Hyderabad and its adjoining areas for Saturday, cautioning of moderate to heavy rain or thundershowers, particularly during the evening and night hours. These spells are expected to be accompanied by gusty winds.

According to the IMD’s impact-based forecast, the weather may lead to waterlogging in low-lying areas, traffic congestion across major routes, slippery roads, and clogged drains. In view of the possible disruptions, authorities have been advised to issue necessary warnings and restrict movement where required.
