
SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Coast Guard Welfare and Wellness Association (CGWWA) to enhance educational access to families of Indian Coast Guard personnel.
SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Coast Guard Welfare and Wellness Association (CGWWA) to enhance educational access to families of Indian Coast Guard personnel.
Through the agreement, SRMIST would support enrolment of wards and spouses of serving and retired Coast Guard personnel in its campuses. It will also be extended to personnel who died in service or are living with disabilities. SRMIST will offer tuition fee concessions and reserved seats in undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes.
The MoU was signed by S. Ponnusamy, Registrar, SRMIST; Anurag Kaushik, Deputy Inspector General and Chief of Staff, Regional Headquarters (East), Indian Coast Guard; and Priya Paramesh, president, CGWWA, in the presence of C. Muthamizhchelvan, Vice-Chancellor of SRMIST.
