Minister for Health, Family Welfare and Medical Education Satya Kumar Yadav called on Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Ashwini Vaishnaw in New Delhi on Wednesday.
Mr. Satya Kumar Yadav, along with Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath, met Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and discussed with him the expansion of roads and development projects in Sri Sathya Sai and NTR districts. Mr. Satya Kumar Yadav also briefed him about the arrangements being made for Mr. Nitin Gadkari’s visit to A.P. on August 2, when he is expected to inaugurate projects worth ₹9,500 crore.
Later, the Health Minister discussed railway projects in the State with Mr. Ashwini Vaishnaw.
Earlier on Tuesday, Mr. Satya Kumar Yadav met Minister of Textiles Giriraj Singh and urged him to expedite the process of setting up of a mega handloom cluster in Dharmavaram. After presenting him with a silk shawl made by weavers of Dharmavaram, he asked the Union Minister to visit the place and discussed the development of textile industry in the State.
