Parmeet Sethi says he’s ‘international superstar’ in Switzerland as he recreates iconic DDLJ scene with Archana Puran Singh; son says, ‘In his dreams’ | Bollywood News

Actor and television personality Archana Puran Singh has been treating fans to glimpses of her picturesque family vacation in Switzerland through a series of YouTube vlogs. Accompanied by her husband, actor Parmeet Sethi, and their two sons Ayushmaan and Aaryamann Sethi, the trip has featured everything from local cuisine to stunning landscapes, and some unexpected laughs along the way. In the latest vlog, the family set out to discover Mürren, a quaint and lesser-known Swiss mountain village. On their way, Archana and Parmeet took a trip down memory lane by recreating the iconic train scene from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, a film Parmeet starred in.

In the playful recreation, Archana is seen running to catch the train as Parmeet extends his hand to help her onboard, just like Shah Rukh Khan did for Kajol in the film. But the moment quickly turned comedic. As soon as she boarded, Archana burst into laughter and exited the train, joking: “Ye toh Raj nahi, Kuljeet hai!” (This isn’t Raj, it’s Kuljeet!) To which Parmeet replied with mock indignation: “Kuljeet ki bhi feelings hoti hai yaar.” (Even Kuljeet has feelings, you know.)

Once they reached Mürren, the men in the family, Parmeet, Ayushmaan, and Aaryamann, set off for Via Ferrata, a historical climbing route initially developed during World War II to help Italian soldiers navigate rugged terrain. Today, it’s a popular adventure sport known for its steep cliffs and dramatic views. The trio documented their thrilling experience as they scaled challenging rock paths and even witnessed adrenaline junkies taking part in base jumping. At the end of the climb, Parmeet declared: “This is the scariest thing I’ve ever done!” He teased Archana, saying she would have never managed to do something that intense.

Their Swiss adventure continued as the family visited a traditional village named Gimmelwald. Immersing themselves in local culture, they explored farms and encountered the iconic Swiss cows. In one light-hearted moment, Parmeet jokingly asked Archana to taste the cows’ fodder, prompting a faux-furious reaction from her: “Apologize to me because if I get angry then you will be left with no option!” Despite the playful banter, the vlog ended on a heartwarming note. The family settled at a scenic mountaintop spot, where Ayushmaan and Aaryamann serenaded their parents with songs while Archana and Parmeet enjoyed the music and the mountain vibes.
