The Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) has issued a notice regarding the postponement of the Odisha Police Sub Inspector (SI) exam 2025, which was originally scheduled for March 8 and 9, 2025. The decision was made due to certain undisclosed circumstances within the Odisha State Department. The new exam dates will be announced soon on the official OPRB website at odishapolice.gov.in.
The official notice reads, “ This is to inform you that the Combined Police Service Examination -2024 scheduled to be held on 8th & 9th March 2025 is deferred for the time being. Further intimation will be made later.”

This recruitment drive aims to fill 933 vacancies for the posts of Sub-Inspector (SI) of Police (Armed), Station Officers (Fire Service), and Assistant Jailors. The selection process includes a written exam, physical efficiency test, and document verification.

The selection process for the Odisha Police SI Recruitment 2025 consists of the multiple stages as explained here:

The Odisha Police SI Exam consists of three papers:

  2. Paper II: General Studies (200 marks, 180 minutes).
  3. Paper III: Technical Paper (for Station Officer-Fire Service only, 200 marks, 180 minutes).
