Kerala Financial Corporation transfers dividend to State govt.


The Kerala Financial Corporation (KFC) has transferred a dividend of ₹36.01 crore for the 2024-25 financial year to the State government.

Finance Minister K.N. Balagopal received the dividend cheque from Chief Secretary and KFC Chairman A. Jayathilak on Wednesday. Mr. Balagopal said it was gratifying to see a public sector financial institution, which provides loans to micro, small, and medium enterprises at interest rates starting from 5%, progressing steadily.

For the fiscal ending March 31, 2025, KFC had recorded its best performance in its 72-year history. The corporation’s net profit stood at ₹98.16 crore, reflecting a 32.56% increase over the previous year. KFC’s loan portfolio crossed ₹8,000 crore for the first time, reaching ₹8,011.99 crore.
