The police teams carried out surprise checks aboard Mumbai Superfast Express between Railway Kodur and Rajampet in the Renigunta-Guntakal section. The operation was aimed at containing illegal transportation of drugs and narcotics, the SP said, adding that the effort was a joint exercise by the Eagle Team, district police, Railway Protection Force (RPF), and Government Railway Police (GRP).
The SP appealed to the public to report any clandestine activity related to the drug trade on the toll-free number 1972, Dial 112, or informing local police.
