Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin on Wednesday said Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin is in good health and would return home in 2-3 days.

Following giddiness during his morning walk, the 72-year-old Chief Minister was admitted to Apollo Hospitals on Greams Road in the city on Monday (July 21) forenoon.

“Thanks to the treatment given by doctors and the affection shown by people the Chief Minister would return home soon,” Mr. Udhayanidhi said speaking at a function organised by DMK in Tiruvallur district.

He also unveiled the bronze statue of late Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, also inaugurated Kalaignar library in Poonamallee and distributed welfare measures.

Highlighting various schemes implemented by the Chief Minister, Mr. Udhayanidhi said it has gained huge popularity among people. However, the BJP government at the Centre is not able to tolerate this and is causing a lot of hindrance to Tamil Nadu and its people by depriving funds, he said.

Mr. Udhayanidhi said BJP is also trying to interfere with Education and language rights and through delimitation it is trying to reduce the number of Lok Sabha seats in Tamil Nadu.

“While the Chief Minister is raising voice against such moves, the AIADMK has formed an alliance with the BJP,” he said.
