For the past week or so, fans of content creator Ashish Chanchlani had been scratching their heads trying to figure out what exactly was happening in his dating life. The comedian had posted a picture with actor Elli AvrRam, in which Ashish was holding Elli up in his arms, and Elli had a bouquet of flowers in her hands. After posting more content pointing towards a romantic relationship, both of them have just revealed that they were just promoting a new song, and they aren’t actually dating.

The initial post gave the rumour mill a new opportunity as fans of both celebrities started speculating the meaning behind the post, and the cryptic one-word caption “finally” didn’t help at all. Then the two of them posted another video where Ashish introduced him as Elli’s ‘spot-boy’, and the two could be seen poking fun at each other. The beautiful locations and the banter made many believe in the fact that they were dating, while some still maintained their doubts. Now, obviously everything has been laid to rest, as both of them posted a snippet of the music video that they were shooting together in which they both play each other’s romantic interest.

Sung by singer Vishal Mishra, ‘Chandaniyan’ is part of composer Mithoon’s new album titled ‘Master Of Melody’. Comprising six songs, Mithoon told the Statesman that this project is a reflection of his personal and professional journey. He revealed that the idea actually came from Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, who called him a ‘master of melody’. Mithoon is already making rounds of the music charts, though, as he worked on the music for YRF’s Saiyaara, and the songs have already amassed millions of views on YouTube and other streaming platforms. Throughout his Bollywood career, Mithoon has given the listeners some iconic songs, including ‘Bas Ek Pal’, ‘Aye Khuda’, ‘Tere Bin’, and ‘Tum Hi Ho’.

Coming to Ashish Chanchlani, it seems that through the music video the creator is further branching out in his career. He was even seen posing with the cast of Jurassic World: Rebirth, including Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey. Music videos could prove to be his bridge to more acting gigs and then maybe Bollywood, and his fans will be glad to see him doing so well after the whole India’s Got Latent controversy.
