The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the list of rejected candidates for the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service (IES/ISS) Examination 2025. These applications have been rejected due to non-payment of the required fee.
According to the official notification, confirmation was not received from bank authorities regarding the payment of the ₹200 fee for the IES/ISS Exam 2025. In total, the applications of five candidates have been rejected. The notice includes the names and registration IDs of the affected candidates.
The notice reads, ‘In view of the provisions contained in the Commission’s Notice for the above examination published in the Employment News, No. 07/2025-IES/ISS DATED : 12.02.2025 and uploaded on the Commission’s website, applications of the above candidates have been rejected.’
The notice also states that if a candidate wishes to appeal against the rejection, they may do so by submitting documentary evidence to the Commission. The appeal must be sent either by speed post or by hand to:

Furthermore, the appeal must reach the Commission’s office within 10 days of receiving the email notification.
Candidates are advised to submit:
- The original bank pay-in slip if the fee was paid or deposited in cash at the State Bank of India or designated banks.
- A copy of the Debit/Credit Card statement or Bank Account statement if the fee was paid through debit/credit card or internet banking from an authorized bank.
