Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president Vijay on Wednesday (July 30, 2025) launched a mobile app, ‘My TVK’, designed for the enrolment of members.
The party said it aims to enrol two crore members. The app is launched with the theme, ‘Tamil Nadu on a Victory March’.
Speaking after launching the app at the party’s headquarters in Panaiyur, Mr. Vijay said the 2026 general elections in Tamil Nadu would be turning point, like the previous big elections of 1967 and 1977.
“We are firm about it. In those two elections, those who emerged as the new winners opposed the mighty strength and authority of those who had been winning,” he noted.
“They won through simple logic. They went to each city, each street, each house, and met people,” Mr. Vijay said.
Quoting DMK founder C.N. Annadurai, he said: “Go to the people, learn from them, live among them, plan with them.”
“If we do this correctly, we can enrol members under the theme ‘Tamil Nadu on a Victory March’ and emerge victorious,” Mr. Vijay said
The next big event would be the party’s conference in Madurai and thereafter, Mr. Vijay would be touring the State to meet people.
